The rain and cold on Wednesday September 15, 2011, did not deter the 60 players who participated in the annual Dyberry Day Camp Golf Tournament which was held at the Honesdale Golf Club. The 18 hole captain and crew format produced the following winners with a score of 55: Jeff Giblin, Jeff Henderson, Mike Cole and George Mueller. Hosted by Linda and Peter Tonetti and Jeff Giblin and Carissa Morgan, the event raised $7200.00 for the Dyberry Day Camp. In addition to the participants, many area businesses and individuals donated to the event. Proceeds from previous events were used to purchase wheelchair and handicapped play equipment and to fund leisure time activities for challenged individuals in Wayne-Pike County.
