For 29 years members from the Knights of Columbus have raised funds through selling “Measure -Up” rulers during the “Measure- up Campaign” to benefit individuals with mental retardation and developmental delays. Two Wayne County Knights of Columbus Councils reached the goal of raising $5.00 per member during the 2006 Measure- up Campaign and recently received plaques. The Arc, Wayne County, was the local beneficiary from this campaign, receiving 75% of the share and the Arc of Pa receiving 25%. The Hawley Council #797 was additionally recognized as a recipient of a Special Service Award for raising the most money per capita statewide.
